Holiday’s (you gotta love them!!!)

April 13, 2008 – 3:40 am
When I was, 3 mabey 4 I went for my first over-sea’s holiday. This followed me moving to WA when I was little (little being a couple of week’s old) for a month or two. Anyway, going on with my first over-sea’s trip; we went to New Zeland for… ummm… three weeks? I was really scared of being there for that long because I was afraid  volcano was going to errupt and we would all die. As obvious as it might sound, a volcano DIDN’T errupt and we didn’t all die. Then after I got told that the heat from the hot pools we were sitting in were, infact, was made by the lava under the earth, I felt very uncomfortable. I also remember the disappointment when I wasn’t allowed on the giant water slide because, either; I wasn’t tall enough, or, I wasn’t old enough. Probably both. Then come’s the memorie of the speed boat we went on on the river. We spent about half an hour doing spins and getting saturated bu the water being splashed over the side of the boat by the river rapid’s.

As far as I can remember my next holiday was not over-sea’s, but here, in down-under. We, mum, dad and my 5-6 year old self, tavelled by car to, I think it was Kempsea, before I got dehidrated, and we had to top a the hospital for about, mabey, an hour or two, which, mind you, seem’s like a good 4 hours when your spewing (or trying to too feel better) every 3-5 minutes, not to mention the yucky medical ice-block (which was more like an ice-brick) which I had to finish so they didn’t have to put me on a drip. After that we travelled tooour destination for the night. The hotel closest to the Big Banana was not very memorable but the big breakast at the Big Banana the next morning definatly was. A plate the size of a place-mat full with ice-cream, banana, pancakes, topping, honey and pure maple syrup. Let’s just say I didn’t finish it. Then we travelled as far as the macadaimia factory to stop there to have lunch. Finaly we got to our final destination on that trip; the lovley Surfers Paridise. Our room in the hotel had a clear view of a lake-town one way and an ocean view the other. We went for a walk to have dinner by the beach. We were buggered so we we went to bed with big-dog (or I did). The next day I think we went to Sea World. Dad and I had appointment’s to swim with the dolphins though at different times so mum could take picures. Then we saw the dolphin show at dolphin cove. We must have gone to Dream World on day two. We saw the rare white tiger’s doing there hourly shows (which bored me two tears after the first 10 minutes. Then we wondred around admiring all of the strange places. The next day, we went to Warner Brother’s Movie World. Believe it or not, we saw one of my friends from school there! We enjoyed ride’s like; The Scooby-Doo scarey Coaster, The ride where we went down a big water fall theme thing in a boat, and the road runner coaster, just to name a few. Then we went to Wet’n'Wild the next day which was great, but I won’t bore you with  all of the detail.

Our next holiday was to Daydream Island. There were several pool’s, one of which had a bar in it and the same pool led under a bridgeto an area with a spa, I seemed to be the only person who found it! We fed biting parrot fish (the biting part was most uncomfortably discovered by me!) and we swamaround the GBR ( Great Barrier Reef) for hours. It was sad that we had to leave but I want to go again (HINT, HINT, MUM!!!!!!!!!!).

We went to a dungog farm which was so cool we’ve been 2 or 3 times and where you see * that’s when we went.

Hmmmmm, when was my next holiday? It must have been when we went to the U S of A.

We did the whole long journey over sea’s but when we got there, it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth the wait! We got to California, LA and walked (after we put our stuff on the hotel) to the magnificent Disneyland but we didn’t go in to waste one of our 5 day passes at 5:00 whin it closed at 9:00.
We went also to California Park and my day of fame at Hollywood! We were at Universal Studios and we went for the movie tour.

At the end of that same year we went back to The Gold Coast but I can’t be bothered to write about that; Same old, Same old.

Then we went to Dubbo, which i’ve already told you about but any way:

Sorry I Havn’t written on my blog for weeks, & that was before Iwent to Dubbo.

We stayed at the Zoofari Lodge & we went on 3 hour & a half tours (one of which was in the dark, at night, not morning) & to were during the day.

On the afternoon tour the day we arrived we saw YumYum & Cudles (or somthing like that) the Elephants. We saw for Girffe’s & I can only remember one of them’s name (hardly, anyway, well actually not) & I was delighted to know that we got to feed & pat them. We also saw wild dog which sounded like a bird being strangled & a rhino. We, above all of those saw the best… Tiger!

On the night tour we saw Suzy the wombat we patted her nose whilst she was eating & the Echidna was delighted when we took turns rubbing his back, He loves A good back rub but don’t we all. We saw those  monstaurus tortises & some Maned Wolves. We saw a Hippopotomus(spelling?!) called Mr Happy, him being the exact opposite of that.

The next day we saw some VERRRRRRRRRRRRY noisy monkeys (no not me) one of which, when four months old, gabbed a sygnet and ripped it’s head off ( according to the tour guide). Have any of you, dear readers, heard of a bongo? I bet your saying ‘’that silly old drum thingamabobby’’ Well if htat is the case… YOUR WRONG. A Bongo is a dear like creature & by the looks of what we fed it, it appreciates mouldy bread. We saw a Lioness getting fed raw meat and a black rhino.

Mum, belive it or not, Dad & I went for two long bike rides around the zoo & we saw the Otters getting fed & the Meerkats & the Bird avery. We enjoyed a glimps of a cheetah & I got some toys at the souvenir shop.

On that night we got to stay at a Big4 holiday park & the next morning we went for breakfast & then drove home.

That is my series of holidays so far, and, not including the countless number of time’s i’ve been to Fingal, and, Nelson Bay!
